About the Organisers
Overview
The Timber Development Association Australia (TDA) was incorporated in 1938 to promote the use and sale of timber, whether native or imported, for all purposes in the building industry. TDA continues to support the timber sector by advancing technical capability, industry knowledge, and market development across Australia. We work closely with a number of related organisations, including Forest and Wood Products Australia (FWPA), Australian Forest and Wood Innovations (AFWI), and others.

National and international affiliation
TDA is a member of the International Wood Products Association (IWPA), based in the United States, and maintains links into international timber markets and industry networks, including engagement across regions such as the United Kingdom and Europe.
Membership
TDA membership provides a practical way for organisations to contribute to, and stay connected with, key industry initiatives, technical developments, and sector-wide engagement through TDA’s programs and activities.
